Welcome, Chastity Bush! What is your latest offering?
My latest offering would be a contemporary romance entitled The Guarding of Eden. This had to be my absolutely favorite story to write!

What is The Guarding of Eden all about?
The Guarding of Eden is about a woman named Eden Campbell.  Eden’s life is nearly perfect from her dream job down to her handsome fiancé.  But all of that comes to a screeching halt when Eden walks in on her fiancé in nothing but a pair of sexy heels and a feather boa. After that Eden’s life and luck takes a nosedive and before she knows it she is the prime suspect in the murder of her bosses ex-wife. Now, thanks to her best friends, Tilley and Joe, she is hiding out with one of the sexiest men she has ever seen until the real killer can be found.

That sounds like a great read. How did you come up with the idea?
This one kind of hit me out of nowhere. I knew that I wanted something funny and sexy at the same time.  Fortunately that is exactly what I got with this story and the characters within.

Tell me about your past releases and a little secret about yourself that no one else knows—I promise I won’t tell!
I have one other release that happens to be a historical romance (western) entitled Savage Rescue. It's a very short story that is full of love and romance. I am currently working on a follow up to this story which I plan to be a full length novel.
I am really an open book. There is not a lot that people don't know about me. I guess If there was one thing that people did not know about me it is that I am a bit of a nerd.  I love things like Star Trek and The Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter, (I LOVE Harry Potter!)  I even crack corny jokes that make me look so dorky at times!

Any new releases on the horizon this year?
Absolutely! My latest paranormal romance, A Taste of Terror is set to be released on December 1, 2010 by an all new company, Muse It Up Publishing. I am very excited about this book and can’t wait to hear what others think. Other than that, I am working on at least four other manuscripts which I am hoping at least one will be released before the end of the year.

What are you working on right now?
Wow, a lot actually. Three paranormals, a western romance and a follow up to The Guarding of Eden. It is a lot but I get so many ideas that it is hard not to put them all down.  Hopefully there will be some diamonds amongst them.

Thank you for joining me, Chastity. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
I love to hear from readers! If there are any questions or comments, feel free to email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible!

Excerpt: The Guarding of Eden
“It’s Jasper.”  He said as he yanked open the door only to slam it shut and lock it as soon as the man had entered.
As the man Joe had called Jasper turned to face Eden, a million images of what she and the stranger could be doing for an indefinite amount of time flitted through her mind.  And they all involved whip cream and a hot tub.
He was tall.  Much taller than Joe.  His chest and shoulders were broad inside his black leather jacket.  She could see his pecs through his tight black t-shirt as he shrugged out of his jacket.  His arms were large and corded with muscle.
She could not stop her eyes from roaming the length of his body.  His waist was trim and his legs were large and just like his arms, ripped with muscle beneath his tight faded jeans.
But what really grabbed her attention and caused a shiver to run the length of her spine was not his physique.  It was how truly beautiful he was.
His hair was as black as coal.  His face was hypnotic with high cheekbones and a day’s growth of stubble covering his jaw.  He looked at her and his blue gaze cut through her like a knife.  It felt as if she stood before him completely naked.
He had one of those gazes that made a person feel as if they and all of their secrets were exposed to his view.
He was danger personified.  Something she needed nothing to do with.  But at the moment what she needed and what she wanted were two completely different things.
“Pardon me,” Jasper began gently, “While I appreciate your ogling, we don’t have time for it at this moment, the cops are on their way.”  He said with a smile that displayed the most perfect straight white teeth she had ever seen.
“I wasn’t ogling you.”  She said defensively.
What the hell is the matter with me?  She chided herself.  She was about to be on the run for flambéing Lorna Carlson and she was checking out some guy.  What in the hell had gotten into her?
“You were, but that is beside the point.”  Tilley interrupted handing Eden a suitcase that felt as if it held the entire closet.
“You need to go.”
Eden looked into Tilley’s eyes and could see the tears there.
The two women had never been more than a few minutes away from each other their entire lives.  Although Joe and Tilley was the other half of each other they made her feel as if she was a part of them and they were definitely a part of her.
Their parents had been best friends until the death of Eden’s parents in a car accident when they were ten.
After that she lived with her grandparents, but you could always find her two houses away at Tilley and Joe’s.
Tilley and Eden hugged as if they would never see each other again.  And after Tilley let her out of her hold Joe immediately took her into his.
“This will be over soon.”  Joe said as he wiped his tears with his sleeve.  “Until then, Jasper is taking you somewhere safe.  Don’t be scared.”  He ordered in a steadier voice as he and Tilley grabbed their things, told Jasper some thing’s she could not hear and quickly left the apartment.
Jasper took the suitcase that she had forgotten she held and steered her toward the door.

Genre: historical, western, soft romance, also qualifies as YA

Blurb: Bare hours after she is married, Elizabeth Tower is widowed and obligated by her dying husband to care for the man who killed him. The wounded killer said he was not the man Tower thought he was attacking. Though Elizabeth knew who he really was, no one believed her until she struggled free of oppression, made herself heard, and fought to draw Tim Bowman from the hate that possessed him.

Welcome Larion! What is your latest offering?
My latest is A Gallows Waited

What is A Gallows Waited all about?
How hard hates rides a man, bent only on revenge, and how a woman, oppressed all her life can have the freedom she’s always wished for. When the two meet, she learns life for a woman can be more than a servant to some man, father or husband, and he learns no matter how deep his hatred and thirst for revenge, a lady with big blue eyes can distract him.

That sounds interesting. How did you come up with the idea?
I don’t know, or remember exactly, but I’m sure it’s Louis L’Amour’s fault. That’s who I was into reading when I wrote it. Influence, influence.

Tell me about your past releases and a little secret about yourself that no one else knows—I promise I won’t tell!
Past releases cover a wide variety, from the first, The Knowing, which is a fantasy, through Looking Glass Portal, a science fiction, to contemporaries both in soft and hot romance genres, and historical, three others besides A Gallows Waited in the western collection. Some have witchws, some have ghostws, and all mystery or suspense.

As for a secret, don’t know, guess I could tell you I’m a binge reader. Six or seven books at a time, start one, finish, start another, when I take breaks from writing or editing. I buy more by author now than anything else. Since I started publishing, I don’t have as much reading time so I stick to authors I know I like so I’m not disappointed by an unexpected unhappy ending or are just plain boring.

Any new releases on the horizon this year?
I have two new releases coming up soon so far this year, one through Swimming Kangaroo Books, It’s Still Tomorrow and one through XOXO Publishing, The Eternal Search. It’s Still Tomorrow is a contemporary, hot romance, paranormal (witches), suspense. Mouth full, huh? The Eternal Search is a futuristic, soft romance, with time travel and one immortal.

What are you working on right now?
Most of the work I’m doing now is self-editing, getting several manuscripts ready to submit. A large selection to keep the tradition going, a historical, a futuristic, a fantasy, and a hot contemporary.

Thank you for joining me, Larion. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
I would just like to mention that those who like a good western as well as romance will enjoy the western collection, Mark of the Sire, Little Sam’s Angel, Twisted Wind, and A Gallows Waited. They're not just for the ladies, and they are appropriate for young adults as well.

In time more will be coming out, with White Savage being next to go to a publisher. Start a habit, please. They are all available in ebook and print online through www.swimmingkangaroo.com, Amazon, and Barnes and Noble, and too many ebook sites to mention, and most book stores will order them for you.

I’d also like to tell everyone I write under two names, Larriane Wills and Larion Wills. Both of us would like to invite you to visit our site: http://www.larriane.com to see more on all our books, join in a contest if you feel like it, or request an autographed bookplate for the books you’ve bought, and find info on release dates on the new ones.

EXCERPT-
A Gallows Waited:
Tower had no give in him, one of the reasons Gus thought again of how badly the approaching couple were mismatched and that Mr. Tower was making a fool move--had already made a fool move. The couple was returning from their wedding, after only knowing each other for three days. Love wasn’t involved, Gus was sure of that since Tower had sent for her back east somewhere, and Gus thought there ought to be love. He’d loved his Mary and their baby girl until death took them. No such feeling would be in this marriage. Tower was too hard and cold for it, but no doubt there would be children. Tower had taken a wife young enough to be his own daughter, and he treated her like a servant, not a wife. What was more pitiful, she acted like a servant.
Sitting beside her husband, Elizabeth Tower was staring at the hands folded limply in her lap. Her blond head, hair plaited and wrapped in a knot in the back, raised slightly as the buggy drew to a stop. For just an instant those huge blue eyes, the first thing Gus had noticed about her, touched his and slid away.
“Ma’am,” Gus said, tipping his hat politely and wondering again why she dressed so plain and puritan.
“What do you want, Temple?” Tower asked curtly, jumping to the ground.
“Won’t take a minute,” Gus said, bristling at the man’s arrogant tone. “Got a man out back I’d like to put on to tame that filly.”
Tower helped his bride of only a few hours to the ground and then turned his back on her. “Does he have recommendations?” he queried.
“Only what he says he can do.”
   “I’ll speak to him.”
“Sir, Mr. Tower, you don’t need to do that, not right away,” Gus said quickly, looking with embarrassment at Mrs. Tower. “Likely you’d want to see Mrs. Tower into the house.” At least that much, he thought, since they’d just come from being married. “He can wait a few minutes.”
“Nonsense. I’ll talk to him now. Elizabeth, go into the house,” he ordered, leaving her without a backward glance.
Gus ducked his head in embarrassment for her, mumbled an apology, then hurried to catch up. When Gus rounded the corner of the house, he was still five feet short of overtaking Tower. Bowman was still sitting on his horse at the corral fence, watching the prancing filly. What happened then happened so fast, Gus couldn’t do anything more than stare.
Tower took one look at Bowman, stopped dead in his tracks, and screamed, “You!” in a voice choked with horror. He clawed for the gun he carried on his hip, and as soon as he had the gun clumsily in his hands, he began to shoot.
His target looked puzzled, then shocked, and then Bowman shot back. Not in the crazy, wild, panicked way Tower emptied his gun but with cool calculation. Only one shot was returned while that nag of a horse stood solid, one bullet whipping up dirt between her feet, and she only flinched once when one burned her rump.
Bowman’s one shot ended the shooting match, knocking Tower to the ground at Gus’s feet, though Tower’s gun discharged once more as he fell. With the biting smell of burnt black powder in the air, the echoes died away before Gus found his voice again.
“My Gawd,” was all he could say, and since it didn’t seem to be enough, he said it again. “My Gawd.”
“Why did he do that?” Bowman asked, sounding for all the world like he was asking no more than the time of day.
“I was going to ask you that. Don’t you know?”
   “I never saw him before.”
“Boy, you better come down off that horse. We’ll have—”
“No,” Bowman said, still soft and low, but with finality. “You saw what happened. You make sure the marshal knows it straight.”
“He’ll want to talk to you,” Gus said, stepping over Tower.
“I don’t want any trouble, so don’t come after me.”

To Seduce A Soulmate by Laura Tolomei

Genre: Holiday, Contemporary, m/f, m/m, m/m/f

Blurb: Finding a soul mate was the easy part. To seduce him proved Martin’s hardest challenge for nothing in Pirate Drake’s black intriguing eyes seemed to recognize the one person destiny had selected for him. But can the month between Thanksgiving and Christmas be enough to convince him of the contrary in spite of his dilemmas about gender, feelings, connections and sex or can Pirate Drake find a way around the burning desire, the erotic heat, the uncontrollable passion wrecking his senses at Martin’s mere sight?

Welcome Laura!
Hello, Rie, it’s always a pleasure to be here.

What is your latest offering?
Hot off eXtasy’s press, it’s called To Seduce A Soulmate.

What is To Seduce A Soulmate all about?
It’s all about soul mates, not the finding them part, which is difficult in itself, but the convincing them part, an even more difficult task. And I must admit, Martin has a hard time proving to Drake he’s his true Soul Mate, the One destiny chose from the start to complete the dark pirate, his missing half as Plato wrote. Too bad for Pirate Drake it all boils down to a gender issue, an insignificant detail in Martin’s mind if compared to the sheer luck of having found one’s missing piece. And since Drake refuses to accept this simple fact, Martin has no choice but to take the path of slow seduction that hopefully will makes his potential soul mate question his convictions. But will it be enough to make Drake change his mind?

That sounds very seductive. How did you come up with the idea?
A friend of mine couldn’t stop talking about one of the managers in her company. She told me so much about him that I started imagining him, making up motives for why he behaved in a cetain way until Martin sprung to life and begun telling me his tale on how To Seduce A Soulmate.

Tell me about your past releases and a little secret about yourself that no one else knows—I promise I won’t tell!
I’ve got quite a back list by now, Rie, which include:
Trespassing All Hallows Eve, my first release in October 2008
Divinitas, January 2009, a unique three stories in one about two souls reincarnating to quench their burning passion and taste for the divine
Sacrificial Sex, March 2009, a 2010 EPPIE finalist in the horror category
Roman Seduction, June 2009, which has received enormous consensus from many reviewers
Spying the Alcove, August 2009, a unique archeological tale written with two different narrating voices, one in third, the other in first person POV
Bloody Passion, October 2009, a very first for me since the horror it describes is written in a man’s first person POV
All these are published with eXtasy Books.
Now, although I’m not sure I can trust you, I’ll go ahead and tell you my secret. I get scared stiff from horror movies and books. Honest! I can’t stand them, never could, never even tried. Certainly never read the books in my life and the few, very few, horror movies I saw, kept me up for days, the images torturing me every time I closed my eyes. And you want to know what’s really funny about all this? As an author, I’m making a name for myself in the horror and paranormal genre. Ha, life’s really strange, isn’t it? The one thing I’ve no knowledge of, is also the same that comes most easily to my imagination and I’ve had no trouble describing it in all its gory details, including a human sacrifice Aztec style in Sacrificial Sex. Well, maybe that’s why it’s a nominee for the 2010 EPPIE Awards LOL

That's funny, Laura. Do you have any new releases on the horizon this year?
Absolutely yes. February 1 was the starting date of my new series, Virtus, a fantasy, paranormal saga about a prince, his lover, his woman and a mysterious three-sided pyramid. In the first release, The Sex, out March 15 @ eXtasy Books, my heroes get to know each other...intimately I’d say and set off on a journey that will uncover the truth about themselves and their world, Sendar. In the second release, The  Game, the journey continues inside a twisted erotic game that will try to prevent our heroes from returning the three-sided pyramid where it belongs. And if hell breaks loose, they have only their lusts to blame.

What are you working on right now?
Right now I’m working on a new release for Whiskey Creek Press. This is a new publisher for me so I’m very excited by the switch, not to mention the novel. Strictly gay and paranormal as in my best style, Tasting Leon’s Mark is a contemporary, ménage, which starts from two soul’s reincarnation after a bloody yet passionate chase through lifetimes, only to take them to a new level, both personally and together. But it’s also a story about choices, genders, compromises and coming to terms with one’s feelings, however unwanted they may be. Here’s a sneak preview of blurb and excerpt.
Blurb
The world is full of hunters and their preys. But some preys can become hunters themselves while others have hidden claws. And not always surrender is the weak’s alternative. Surprisingly, it can turn out to create new connections or balance pre-existing ones, which is what Leon, Sean and Janet will find out in a dangerously seductive game of sex and revelation.
PG excerpt
Leon grinned. “I’m glad to know I was right all along.” He reached to touch his prey’s limp cock. “Your reactions were surprising to say the least.”
“For me, too.” The blond beauty took a deep breath. “I’ve always believed women didn’t attract me. When I saw them half-naked at the beach or on magazines, I didn’t feel anything, physically I mean. When I see a man, instead, every sense becomes alert, my mind starts picturing sex with him, even if I don’t like him that much. This has never happened with a woman.”
“If it makes you feel better, it didn’t this time either. You liked one woman, which doesn’t mean you have to like them all. Like me, I only feel something for you, not for men in general.”
The blond beauty was silent for a while. “Maybe you’re right, but I don’t know—”
Leon forced him to turn around and look straight into his eyes. “You’re just worried you’ll lose your gay identity if you admit you like a woman. But I know you’re much too intelligent to let generalizations blind you. Gay doesn’t define you. It simply limits your choices. You’re a person, first of all, who happens to have his own particular tastes, which should never, ever become a label.”
The dazzling blue eyes flashed in anger. “Funny of you to talk like this since you’re the first to deny our relationship, afraid to let people know you’re doing it with a man.”
Leon searched the beautiful face for a moment. “You’re right, it’s my problem, too. If I haven’t told anyone, except Janet—”
   “The Kitty?”
Leon grinned at the appellative. “Right. I guess in a way I have the same problem, as if by admitting I liked you, I was denying what I always felt was my heterosexual nature.”
   “That’s what defines us, lover.”
“Well, it shouldn’t because we miss out on life’s infinite possibilities. And we, above anyone else, should make it true for our current lives since we denied it in our previous ones.”

Thank you for joining me, Laura. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

EROTIC M/M/F
Oddly though, his greatest boost came from the man on the opposite side of him. Green eyes flashing mischievously, Martin goaded him to surrender to the pleasure, playing a game that did not include the woman at all. She became irrelevant, her body used only to connect the two of them in a greater pleasure they could share together, however impossible that sounded. And Martin wrapped him into a magic all his own, which the pirate soon discovered inescapable. With a groan, he sustained the green provocation  pushing into the woman’s mouth at the same rhythm Martin shoved in her pussy.
“So you appreciate the game,” the blond devil grinned, evidently understanding Drake’s reactions. “But let’s make it more interesting.” Without waiting for confirmation, he slipped out, flipping the woman down on her back.
She did not complain, especially when he grabbed her legs to pull them up to his chest. “You know what I’m gonna do now, right, Pirate?” Martin’s Irish accent taunted.
With a shiver, Drake realized he knew exactly what the devil meant so it was no surprise to see her ass come up in front of the hungry cock. Flashing a grin, Martin pushed into the narrow hole just as Drake settled on his knees to reach for her open mouth. They pumped her together one more time almost moving at the same tempo, the game focused on them alone, uncaring about the woman. To Drake, it felt as if he was having sex only with Martin, without the intermediary, excitement flowing like an electrical current directly between them.
“But we could be closer,” Martin suggested.

Valentine's Day by Robert Mulolo

Genre: Contemporary, Erotica

Blurb:
James, unfulfilled at his job, finds joy in the intimacy he shares with his wife Leah... Until one day falling for the temptations of his co-worker, Amelia. James' conscience resurfaces at the last minute causing Amelia to swear retribution for their unfulfilled fling.
Can James, keep his job, even with Amelia’s wrath while keeping his marriage on the up and up?

Welcome Robert! What is your latest offering?
That would be my first released creation called Valentine’s Day. And no, this is not related to the movie with the same name. My story is better!

What is Valentine’s Day all about?
Valentine’s Day is about James, who is very unhappy with his job. James finds relief from his stress at work from the intimacy shared with his wife. However, on that particular day, she refused him and he stormed out the house. He remembers a coworker who was very flirty with him and decides to give in to temptation and meet her at a hotel. At the last minute he has a change of heart and decides to go back to his wife. The coworker is mad and swears revenge on him. From there, a few things happen to James and his wife, Leah. For the end, you must buy the book and see!

That sounds very romantic and realistic. How did you come up with the idea?
The idea came from a submissions call posted by XOXO Publishing. They wanted a Valentine’s Day story and I didn’t want to give just any Valentine’s  Day story. Romance is nice, but disaster on Valentine’s day is something that was really inspiring me. So I went on that idea and thought of the worst and best that could happen on Valentine’s Day. From there I didn't want to finish it on that one day only, so I kept going along with the idea and I kind of went overboard with it.

Tell me about your past releases and a little secret about yourself that no one else knows—I promise I won’t tell!
This is my first book release to say the truth. I’m quite excited about it.
As for a little secret about me… I learned English watching the Fresh Prince of Bel Air. My family moved to Montreal from France and living in Montreal, QC, I was looking for something to watch. We used to watch the Cosby Show back in France and coming here, I wanted to replace that. I found the Fresh Prince on TV. I didn’t know what they were saying, but it looked similar to the Huxtables. For two months, I would be stuck in front of the tube, watching the show and the first time I understood what was said, was when Jasmine Guy was a guest and said to Will Smith, “You so ugly, your mom had to tie a pork chop around your neck so the dog would play with you!”

That's funny! Any new releases on the horizon this year?
I have submitted a short story called Holier Than Thou right now. It’s a story about a bitter young man who remembers his misadventures with female Church members during Church service. That should be coming out soon. I probably will have a few more to get completed.

What are you working on right now?
I am currently working on a book called Caught In The Net and another story called Where Were You.

Caught In The Net is a story about a young man with very little social skills who seeks companionship and ends up finding it in a sociopath.

Where Were You is a remembrance story about 9/11 where at the end of the book, a few people agreed to give their story about 9/11.

I am also thinking about working on a sequel to Valentine’s Day which will be called Mother’s Day.

Thank you for joining me, Robert. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
Thank you for having me. To all the readers out there, you definitely should check out Valentine’s Day and Holier Than Thou. You won’t regret it!

Excerpt:
The end of the day could not have come any sooner. Being underpaid and overworked is one thing, but taking all of the bullshit from the customers and management for 10 hours straight was going to get me to start smoking. Instead of lighting up those cancer sticks, my loins had been lit up already. Being as sexual as I was, only one thing made me feel better and that was making love.
Knowing how my job was, getting married was the best solution. Single life required putting in the work of meeting someone and convincing them that a sexual encounter with you would be the best solution they made in life. Having a girlfriend was ok, if she lived with you and acted like a wife already. A wife was until death do you part. My girlfriend was living so far away that the commute became an issue, so we got married. In addition, I loved her too, so it was an easy decision and that day, I had to go home to my wife.
The only good thing about that day at work was Amelia, the new HR lady. She looked like trouble from the first day she started. She had more cleavage and legs showing than a strip joint. To say it all, she was a combination of Rachel McAdams and Salma Hayek. Always dropping hints that she wanted to partake in crimes such as adultery. I was not Kobe or OJ, but I appreciated the complement, regardless of the harassment I got from work.
Right before I left work that day, she gave me a card with her phone number on it, saying, call me tonight and let us become better friends
My player days were behind me and I was not looking to create more issues for myself, not that I did not think of it. She did make me want to have sex more, with my wife. I just needed to get home, relax, make love to my wife and forget about it all.
Of course, after work, you had to deal with the damn GTA traffic on the QEW. In my car, I dealt with everyone on the road the same way they dealt with me while Puff Daddy’s Victory was on repeat. I cursed them out at the top of my lungs though they could not hear me, but with the help of a few hand gestures, they were able to get the message.
While I was not going to war with other motorists, I was thinking about the last time I had sex with my significant other; her grinding on top of me, her hands on my chest for balance, my hands on her breasts to attempt to make her climax. Then I started thinking about being on top of her. When that was the case, my wife wanted me to have one hand around her neck while I was thrusting. If I did not do it, she would have her hand to my throat to remind me of what she liked. I had to admit, I was a bit of a follower when it came to sex.

Blurb: Catalina Reyes has always been in charge around men. She is the embodiment of a “hot Latina”, and she has enticed many a man to “take a walk on the salsa side of life”.  The only problem for her is that she gets bored so easily.  When men are ridiculously easy to get, they are replaceable also.  Or so she has always thought.
When her bosses boss assigns her to pose as a client with the blind analyst who he feels ruined his son’s life, he wants her to first seduce him, then destroy the doctor’s reputation. She has no choice, since firing her is only the first thing he will do to her, if she does not do as he orders.  She is at first, thrilled that the doctor is such an attractive man, making the first part of her assignment something she would willingly do anyway.  But something about the doctor makes him different from other men she has been with…has Catalina finally met her match?

Welcome Fiona McGier! What is your latest offering?
The fourth book in my Reyes Family Romances series, titled: Analysis of Love.

What is Analysis of Love all about?
This is the story of a very sexy, attractive Hispanic woman who is too busy “sampling” the most gorgeous men she can find, to fall in love.  She tells her family she is “kissing a lot of frogs, looking for her prince”.   She is a journalist, and her bosses boss, the owner of her paper, secretly calls her into his office and assigns her to become a “client” of an analyst he feels ruined his son’s life.  She is to seduce him, then destroy his reputation…or else her boss will fire her and see that she never works in journalism again.  When she meets the analyst, she is thrilled that he is so sexy that she would willingly seduce him anyway, just to sample what he has to offer.  The first problem is that he is blind, so she has to figure out how to attract him without being able to use the usual visual cues she relies on.  Then she feels guilty at what she is expected to do to him.  And finally, she is horrified to realize that for the first time in her life, she is falling in love!

I'm a fan of the Reyes Family and I think I've already fallen in love with this story! How did you come up with the idea?
Catalina was a minor character in my third book, Love By Design, which was the story of her older sister’s romance.  Catalina tried to flirt with the man who was head-over-heels in love with her sister, but he never even noticed.  So she settled with seducing his best friend.  As I was writing her scenes, I wondered what kind of man it would take to capture her heart and turn her into a one-man-woman.  This book is the answer to that question.

Tell me about your past releases and a little secret about yourself that no one else knows—I promise I won’t tell!
All of my published books are about members of the Reyes family, so either the hero or the heroine is Hispanic.

Don’t tell anyone, but I fall in love with every hero I create.  My husband tries not to be too jealous, but complains when I spend more time with THEM, than with him!

Aww, how sweet. Any new releases on the horizon this year?
Yes!  The fifth book, Love Therapy, will be published June 1.  It tells the story of Catalina’s closest brother Miguel, and the woman his family thought he had finally gotten out of his system.  She comes back to town 20 years after breaking his heart, and when they meet again, the sparks fly.

What are you working on right now?
I’m hoping the sixth book in the Reyes Family Romances series will get a contract.  But I’m also working on a sci-fi romance series, as well as some stand-alone romances.

Thank you for joining me, Fiona McGier. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
I’m not really sure how to classify my novels.  I write hot, explicit sex scenes, but they are between 2 consenting adults who are falling in love.  So they don’t qualify as erotica.  I guess you could call my style erotic romance?  I’d love it if some readers contacted me on my webpage, either on my blog or via e-mail, and tell me what you think.

Excerpt:

She peered more closely at his eyes, asking, “So, you’ve never been able to see? You have no idea what seeing even means then, huh?”
He shook his head again. “Nope. But hey, you don’t really miss what you have never had. And I consider myself one of the lucky ones. My parents were always able to afford the best of care for me, and I was sent to the best schools. I learned Braille at an early age, and was able to switch to public schools by the time I got to high school, so I was able to deal comfortably with the seeing world once I got to college. And lucky for me, there are careers where seeing isn’t necessary... so here we are.”
He was quiet for a moment, before he chuckled softly.
“You are very good, Ms. Reyes. You don’t really want to be here, so you are busy deflecting attention away from yourself, onto me. But that’s not what you are here to discuss, really, is it? Me and my problems? You are here because someone felt, and you must have agreed, that you need someone to listen to you talk, and to discuss your problems, right?”
Catalina was so busy pulling her shirt up and flashing her naked breasts at the man, that she didn’t reply right away. When there was absolutely no sign that he had any idea that she had done anything unusual, she sat back, rearranged herself back into her clothing, and smiled at him again, saying, “I guess so.”
He moved his hand up to put his glasses back on, and Catalina quickly leaned forward to touch his hand, saying, “Don’t, please. I like to look at your eyes. You are really an attractive man, with that blond hair, tanned skin, and those light blue eyes. In fact,” she gently rubbed the back of his one hand, “I am so busy admiring you that I haven’t really been paying much attention to what you were saying. I’m sorry. You’re not mad at me, are you?”
He had started when she touched his hand, but quickly regained his composure.
“No, Ms. Reyes. It’s just that blind people react kind of instinctively when you touch them without warning. Remember, I can’t see you, so I have no way of knowing that a touch is imminent. You have already put me off-balance by having me take off my glasses, which is something that I almost never do in public. I feel kind of naked without them, actually.”
She smiled at his choice of words, and withdrew her hand and sat back in her chair.
He continued, “And if I didn’t know better, I’d swear that you were flirting with me. You’re not, are you, Ms. Reyes?”
She audibly drew in her breath. “Why, Doctor Evan, whatever made you think that?”
Even though he couldn’t see her, she crossed her legs provocatively, and began to bounce her one foot.
