Title: Mystic Journey
Release Date: 10/26/09
Author: Ronna Gage
Author Website:  http://www.webs.com/ronnagage
Publisher: Noble Romance Publishing
Genre: Paranormal/time-travel/historical

Blurb:
In the essence of time, few things are constant. However, two virtues remain steadfast, vengeance and love. One born of the other takes centuries to unravel and peace is nothing more than a tinge of silver lining the gray fog.

Welcome Ronna! What is your latest offering?
Well, at this time I have 2 I’d like to tell you about. The first one is Mystic Journey, and the second is Friends and Lovers.

What is Mystic Journey all about?
This one is very special to me. It is about 4 different characters that have many qualities in each other. We begin our journey in Medieval/Renaissance England in the year 1832, during the time of King Henry VIII’s reign. A young noble woman, Serena Willard is accused of witch craft and her execution starts our journey. Then, we go to present day Fort Worth, Texas where we meet the hero of our story. Detective Drake Boyd—Hot, virile, police officer with a gun, sharp wit, and a love for the medieval era. Drake unfortunately is shot in a drug bust gone bad. He’s shot in the head! I get choked up telling you about it. He is rushed to the hospital where we meet Dr. Sabine Williams, a young doctor plagued by recurring night mares. She is alerted to ER where she meets a man familiar to her, but her memory can’t place him. But when he stops breathing on her she is driven by something to save him. She beckons to him to stay with her. Then, our guy wakes up on a beach in some misty fog laced day. A woman dressed in black guides him to the past to mend a wrong and make it right. Trouble is; Drake wonders whose wrong for whose right. And finally, we meet Derek. He is distraught by the love of his life’s death or rather, execution. He dedicates his life to his country and fights to enforce law and order in England, life without Serena isn’t worth living. In all these characters, there is a will to live, a standard they pursuit, and a peace to gain.

That sounds like an intriguing read. How did you come up with the idea?
In my mixed up mind, I created what-if-one-could-go-back-in-time-to-mend-a wrong-and-make-it-right scenario and took off with it.

4Tell me about your past releases and a little something about yourself!
Afternoon Delight and Tell Me A Lie are two short erotic tales from Freya’s Bower. I have received good reviews on both of these books and enjoyed writing them.

What can we expect from you in the future?
I have a second review out right now. Friends and Lovers--a ménage F/M/F. Here is a quick blurb about it to get your taste buds rolling.
Blurb:
Kena Bass found the man of her dreams in Dan Madison, and she made sure those dreams came true. When good friend Elana suffers a personal crisis, Kena and Dan come to her rescue, helping her sort out her feelings. Passions and lust are cast away on a houseboat filled with Friends and Lovers.

This touches on lesbianism experience, multiple sex partners, trust in friendships, and of course masturbation. I got this idea from one of my good friends. She and I discussed what we would do if we were faced with the same situation and bam, the book’s synopsis was born.

Thank you for joining me, Ronna. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
Yes, You can buy my books from the publishers of course, but you can buy from other on–line bookstores, too.
**Mystic Journey**
**Friends and Lovers**
**this is for Friends and Lovers
And for the next year, I am writing/editing my Walking In The Shadows Series. Walking in the Shadows is living life just outside of the light of love, in the darkness just beyond our sight. It is interpreted in two stories (at this time, could be 3), but book one Her Deadly Secret deals with a recovering a anorectic who meets and falls in love with the former bad boy of rock and roll.
Book 2 Deaf Angel deals with the vanity celebrity life plays in rock music.
Thank you for having me. I hope you all the best and success for the Holiday Season. To you and all your fans.

Title: What You See
Release Date: 10/12/09
Author: CJ Black
Publisher: Noble Romance Publishing
Genre: contemporary, m/m, erotica

Blurb: When the older man starts frequenting the restaurant where Adam works, he doesn’t know what to think. Kent is everything that defines success and wealth. What could he possibly want with a college kid like Adam?

Kent is going through a bad divorce, but he knows what he wants and who he wants. He makes his move, but following a brief yet intense lovemaking session, Adam’s insecurities make him walk away.

Kent, refusing to let Adam go, decides to find a way to make the younger man see his worth and their need to be together.

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?
Thank you! I’m happy to be here. My most recent work is a M/M contemporary erotic short called What You See.

What is What You See all about?
You would think this is the easiest question to answer but it never is!  The story centers on Adam and Kent, two men who are as opposite as anyone can be.  Kent is an older professional gentleman; Adam is a college kid with a lot of ambition.  Kent sees this ambition in Adam and is confident that he wants him but Adam doesn’t agree.  Kent works to convince Adam that he’s wrong.

We read a lot of May/December romances involving m/f, how great that you've written a m/m! How did you come up with the idea?
Would you believe while sitting in sushi bar which is where What you See begins?  A few months back I stopped in after work to pick up dinner.  As I sat there and took in the atmosphere I thought what a lovely place to have a romantic liaison.  Normally I wouldn’t frequent a place like that because it was a little pricey which was why I thought of Kent, who was in a position to go and have whatever he wanted.

I know this isn't your first published work, CJ, so tell the readers a little about your other works.
I have several other stories out.  A M/F fantasy erotic short called Paint from Excessica Publishing as well as stories being featured in three anthologies presented by BetterSex.com.  A story of mine, A Little Knowledge was recently chosen as a weekly winner in the BetterSex.com Erotic Fiction Contest.  I also have a few free reads around published by Clean Sheets Magazine and Good Vibrations Magazine.

What can we expect from you in the future, CJ Black?
I have several story ideas in the works, including a contemporary erotic paranormal and another fantasy m/m erotic. Also, a little while ago, I finished a full-length fantasy m/m erotic novel.  I put it aside for a bit because I was having some trouble getting it like I wanted but it’s been on my mind a lot lately.  I’ve attempted in the past to find a critique partner for it because it needs work.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
You’re welcome.  Yes, I want to say to my fellow authors, no matter what “writing defeats” you may encounter, keep going.  Don’t lose your momentum.  Write as often as you can, every free moment you can.  That’s what you do.

EXCERPT:
I’d never seen an old man move so fast; he was on me in a flash, pressing me against the side of the car. He had me by the back of the neck and pulled my head forward while grinding his crotch against mine. I couldn’t believe how big he was. I was hard in a matter of minutes. I’d never gotten it up that fast in my life. He kissed me, his tongue intruding, taking over for a moment and then he pulled back.

I stared at him, with my jaw unhinged, probably looking like a complete idiot. “What—?”

“You think I didn’t see you looking at my cock before? And all those other times you’ve been looking at me? Are you going to stand here and tell me you don’t want me?”

I was still too out of it from the kiss. My throat was tight, so I cleared it. “Why me?”

“Why do you think?” He seemed annoyed. “If you tell me you don’t want me . . . .” He pressed his jaw against mine. “Then I’ll get in my car and drive away.”

BlurbThe Druid, the hunter, his apprentice: sex, power and transformation...what else? There’s a hidden treasure inside everyone. Some show it, but only a few can afford it. Sometimes, you only need to know how to manage other’s treasures, even if self-destructive. But in the end, it’s like seeing yourself in a mirror. So how to explain the violence?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

Just out on Halloween day, Bloody Passion, available at eXtasy Books.

What is Bloody Passion all about?

It’s about finding one’s true self and accepting it. It’s about a passion so great it can actually penetrate the soul to uncover the darkest secrets and turn them into something better. Its about the Halloween magic, when spirits take shape and transform our instincts into actions, whether they be good or evil. It’s about learning to share, secrets, power and sex in an intriguing mix that will lead to murder and salvation. That’s what my Druid, Cedric, the hunter, Rory, and his apprentice will learn along the way to catch a dangerous predator, a four-legged one first, then a much more threatening two-legged one, in 1st Century Britain.

That sounds rather gruesome. How did you come up with the idea?

The idea was running through my mind already since I love that period of history.  I’ve studied it, read about it, invented other stories on it, like Trespassing All Hallows Eve, my first release, but it all came together when eXtasy Books had a submission call for a Halloween novel.

Laura, I know you have quite a back list of published works. Would you tell us about some of them?

Yes, Rie, I have several new books available.
  • Spying the Alcove, novel, August 1, 2009
  • Roman Seduction, short story, June 1, 2009, eXtasy Books
  • Sacrificial Sex, novella, March 1, 2009, eXtasy Books
  • Divinitas, novel, Jan.1, 2009, eXtasy Books.
  • Trespassing All Hallow's Eve, novel, Oct. 152008, eXtasy Books

What can we expect from you in the future, Laura?

For Christmas, you can expect To Seduce a Soulmate, a completely different type of story from Bloody Passion, still in the M/M genre, and one of my favorites so far. Dedicated to all those who believe in destiny and in the existence of a soul mate, To Seduce a Soulmate is a delicious Christmas story, a bit off my usual fantasy/horror genre. But not to worry, like in my best traditions, it’s strictly M/M, even if it happens in modern day USA, Atlanta for that matter in the period that goes between Thanksgiving and Christmas. One month might seem exaggerated to seduce a soul mate, someone who by definition should have no reservations about falling in love with the one person destiny selected for him, but such is life, presenting us with difficult choices to make, particularly when it comes to love. And nothing felt more upsetting than discovering Martin was Pirate Drake’s soul mate. So dilemmas about gender, feelings, connections and sex made it all the more difficult to make a choice, if Drake would ever make one. Or maybe Martin’s ability would conquer him in the end? And what about the craving, the passion, the burning desire? Well, it’s all there in To Seduce a Soulmate, my Christmas release by eXtasy Books.

Then from January 2010, my new series will begin coming out, the Virtus Saga a complete set of 6 books on Sendar’s tales of self-discovery and sexual freedom. The first release, The Sex, should be out by February, followed by The Game.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

Thank you for having me, Rie and I hope readers enjoy the following excerpt!

EXCERPT:

Newlyn hadn’t said a word, staring intently into the fire, apparently unaware of the conversation. But he didn’t fool me one bit. Upon coming to the scene, I had immediately perceived his body tensing from the strain to feel the hunter’s intimate touch, the same way I recognized his annoyance now at my presence, which obviously upset his plans.
Rory grinned, his eyes sparkling mischievously. “Too bad our young friend isn’t as receptive.”
“Come on, Red, it can’t be all that bad,” I teased, my gaze catching the hunter’s and holding it steady. “There must be something he’s good at.”
The green eyes flashed. “Well, maybe there is, but despite numerous…break-throughs, it’s still far from perfect,” Red added, his tone suddenly growing huskier. At his innuendo, everything faded in the background, the forest, the fire, even Newlyn, leaving Rory and I alone to play the seductive game of hunter and prey, where the latter was as yet unaware of its destiny. “In fact,” he continued, licking his lips, “I could use an extra hand to explain my technique in greater detail.”
Feeling the excitement mount, my body having gone hungry for far too long, I stared even harder at Rory’s handsome face. “I thought hunting was a solitary game,” I provoked.
Rory reached out to tousle Newlyn’s hair. “Wrong, Druid. The more to play the game, the better it is as you must have learned from all your solitary observations in the forest.”
Very hot in the face, I understood he had known about my spying all along, not only liking it, but turning it into a game between us. “Some animals prefer not to be disturbed during their…playtime,” I argued reasonably.
Rory shook his head, his hairy red mass flying all around. “On the contrary, Druid, there are some that appreciate more players and not just silent watchers.”
“Tastes differ…” I started slowly.
“Nonsense! A game is a game,” the hunter scoffed, grabbing Newlyn and pulling him close. “Right, puppy?”
Taken aback, the young man fell on Rory’s crotch. “I guess so, Master,” he mumbled confused.
“And the game requires an active participation from all its players. Wouldn’t you agree, puppy?”
Probably getting the first inkling of Rory’s drift, I saw the young man’s body tense. “I’m not sure I do, Master.”
“Of course, you do, puppy.” Grabbing his hair, Rory pulled Newlyn’s head up. “Cedric, here, is a dear friend and he’s as much interested in your training as I am. Don’t you think it’s time to show him just how much you’ve learned?”
“The buck’s probably scared,” I challenged.
“I’m not!” Newlyn spat, sounding offended.
“Then he’s simply inexperienced,” I concluded.
The hunter fixed his gaze on Newlyn. “Are you going to let him believe such lies?”
The young man shook his head.
“Then prove him wrong.” Rory threw him to me and Newlyn was quick to grab the opportunity.

Or will he and Katie succumb to death’s ire?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

My latest release is In the Spirit.

What is In the Spirit all about?

It’s about a woman, Tresa, who was condemned to a life of loneliness as the Grim Reaper. Her love, Jurgen, accused her of something she didn’t do and another man who wanted her, and whom she spurned, turned her into the death spirit. In his guilt and distress, Jurgen becomes an immortal. When Tresa crosses paths with Jurgen, who had changed his name to Ned, and his girlfriend, life and death take an interesting turn.

That sounds kind of spooky! How did you come up with the idea?

It’s a sequel to a holiday story, Holiday SpiritsIn the Spirit revolves around the Halloween time period and the thinning of the veil. When the veil thins, spirits can come through easier and that’s how that idea started.

I know you have quite a backlist, C.R. Tell the readers about some of your other work.

One of my main series revolves around a distant planet and its star system ~ the Si’Ludo books… When I first started writing Postponing Eternity (book 1 in the Si’Ludo Prophesy series), the novel was going to be a full-on vampire story, but it wasn’t flowing the way I really wanted it to. So I put it to the side and continued to work on a story line about Wiccan triplet sisters. When I learned eXtasy Books was looking for manuscripts I finished the sisters’ books with Postponing Eternity in mind. That’s when the whole idea for my Si’Ludo world morphed into what it is now. The Si’Ludo books (1st series: The Mystics, which comprises The Si’Ludo Sisters series and an extra story and the 2nd series: The Si’Ludo Prophesy) follow beings from another world who escaped from war and destruction in their star system to Earth. The good guys have special powers and psychic vampire abilities and the bad guys have special powers as well and are more like your blood sucking vampires. The Mystics (in print) comprise four erotic romance stories that tell about the lives of three sisters on earth and one lone woman exiled to an icy moon far from her home planet. The erotic series shows the people’s sexual natures. The Prophesy books deal more with why the beings came to earth, the battle between the separated Si’Ludoians and allude to their future. Of course there’s romance thrown in between the main characters as they deal with their alien-ness and humanity. I’m hoping to continue writing about the Si’Ludo system in a couple more series.
Other series of mine include:
~ Those that follow sexy demon, Ash. The stories in this series so far are (listed in order): Dirty Little Secret, Dirty Little Lie and Dirty Little Trip (& Dirty Little Girl will be available in May 2010)
~ Those that follow forgotten Gods and Goddesses. The stories in this series so far are (listed in order): Holiday Spirits and In the Spirit
~ Those that follow a family of vampires. These stories can be found in eXtasy’s anthologies (listed in order): Sanguinary Seductions – A Stone’s Throw: Addi, Emerald Envisage – A Stone’s Throw: Emma & coming Winter/Spring 2010 will be Café Nowhere – A Stone’s Throw: Miss Q
I also have two single titles available: Concealed Affairs, which is a contemporary romantic suspense, and The Decision, which is based off the Wheel of Fortune tarot card for eXtasy’s tarot series.

What can we expect from you in the future, C.R. Moss?

I have a series contracted with Devine Destinies titled Look What the Cat Dragged In. It’s about a black cat familiar who likes to play matchmaker with his mistress and her friends and family. Those books are due out in 2010. I also have a couple of other contracted stories with eXtasy Books for 2010 and I’m working on a shifter/vamp series.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

Readers can find out more about me at my website and visiting www.themanyshades.blogspot.com on Mondays.

Title: Heroes Die Young
Release Date: September 1, 2008
Author: Todd Hunter (writing as T. M. Hunter)
Author Website: http://AstonWest.com
Publisher: Champagne Books
Genre: Science Fiction/Action-Adventure

Blurb: Space pirate Aston West is drawn into the intrigue surrounding a derelict freighter and its beautiful, mysterious Captain.

Welcome Todd! What is your latest offering?
Heroes Die Young, an action-packed piece of space opera (or as I like to call it, science fiction for the rest of us) featuring space pirate Aston West.

What is Heroes Die Young all about?
In Heroes Die Young, Aston stumbles upon what he believes is an abandoned freighter and being a pirate, tries to take the remaining cargo. Unfortunately, there’s one survivor on board, the beautiful Captain Rione Sc’lari. She doesn’t take too kindly to him being there, but circumstances dictate Aston has to save her from certain destruction. That sets off a chain reaction of events which leads Aston on a futile attempt to try his hardest at getting out of the situation, to continue on with his previous path of self-preservation. In the end, he discovers he’s stumbled into something far bigger than a simple cargo run gone wrong and has to make the ultimate choice whether to steer clear of trouble or become the hero he once was.

That sounds exciting. How did you come up with the idea?
Heroes Die Young actually started out from a dream I’d had, in which a spaceship was being destroyed all around someone. When I woke up, I immediately picked up my notepad and began jotting down notes based on the dream, questions to spur thoughts about what someone was doing on-board a ship, why the ship was there in the first place, and who was trying to destroy it. That led to even more questions and notes, and the process continued until I finally had a story fleshed out. Ultimately, the original dream became the basis for the last portion of the first chapter of the book (which can be found as a free excerpt over at my website).

Tell me about your past releases and a little something about yourself!
Heroes Die Young is actually my first released novel and has been a really popular book, picking up Champagne Books’ Best-Selling Book of 2008 Award (despite the fact it was only out for the last three months of the year). Most of my past publications, though, have been stories in electronic and print magazines such as Ray Gun Revival, Residential Aliens and Golden Visions Magazine, and the short story format is one I enjoy writing in far more than longer pieces. I have a bit of an attention span problem, so tend to get bogged down and bored easily when writing anything that takes a while to put together. All of my published stories are available on my website, through links to the magazines the stories appeared in.
As for myself, I came from fairly humble beginnings, raised in a rural area of northeast Kansas by my parents, both teachers. My mother taught English, which most likely explains my obsession with writing. Even so, I’ve always had a massive fascination with aircraft, spacecraft, travel to other worlds, you name it. In fact, all of that led me to eventually pick up a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering. And as most writers know, our love for this business is rarely a money-maker, so I use my degree (and my day job) to support my writing obsession.

What can we expect from you in the future?
I do have several stories under contract with multiple magazines, but timing for some can be tricky since I sometimes don’t even know the story is scheduled for a specific issue until the actual issue comes out. The best way to keep track of what has come out would be to frequently visit my website, or follow me on my various social networking hangouts (Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter).
The biggest project I have on the way is my next Aston West novel, Friends in Deed, which is scheduled for release from Champagne Books in January 2010. This book is a bit darker than the first, but has everything fans of Aston West have come to expect and enjoy: Action, adventure, hints at romance, and an acerbic wit that Aston tends to have more often than not.
As for work in the pipeline, stories continue flowing out, and my third Aston West novel is nearing completion. I do have a few other pieces in work (notably my NaNo novel from last year) that are not directly Aston West-related, but it’s not polite to keep his fans waiting so my primary focus is going to be on his novel and stories. *smile*

Thank you for joining me, Todd. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
Thanks for having me! I enjoyed the interview!
For any readers out there, I thoroughly enjoy feedback, so feel free to contact me at any time (contact info is on the site, or through my online haunts) with questions or comments on my book, stories, or anything else that comes to mind. My website also has plenty of free material to peruse, so everyone should make sure to check it out. Enjoy the reads!

Blurb: An unnatural cold front grows each day, bewildering world leaders and scientists, while leaving people across the world in a state of panic. All of North America is covered in snow. Earth is slowly reverting into a frozen oasis, causing religious groups to scream of the end of days, while others believe it’s the beginning of a new and foretold era.

Rosemary Anderson finds herself working as a receptionist, living on an old southern plantation and wishing for excitement. David, the man claiming to have rescued her from a car wreck three years earlier, has maneuvered himself into her life, but only shows up occasionally to ask Rose strange and cryptic questions about a past she no longer remembers.

Rose’s desire for adventure comes true, when strange men arrives at her plantation, and suddenly assails her. Rose narrowly escapes with the help of her mysterious friend David. David flees to Atlanta as he leads Rose through a hidden and treacherous world filled with death, power, secrets and passion. While trying to protect her from immortals shrouded by shadows, an ancient secret society and antediluvian beings from a forgotten time determined to either capture... or kill her.

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?
Three Seeds.

What is Three Seeds all about?
Well, I like to say destiny. It’s about whether we choose our on destiny, or if it’s chosen for us. That’s what I believe my main character’s journey is about. Rose, my main character, had spent the last three years of her life living in a small town trying to remember something about her past. She’d awoken in a hospital with no memory of who she was or how she got there. All she had was the story the nurse and the guy who claimed to have saved her from a car accident told her. So, her world gets turned upside down when five men show up at her place and attacks her. David, the guy who claimed to have saved her from the car accident, rescues Rose and talks her into going on the run with him. During this time a strange snowstorm is slowly covering the world. There are those that believe Rose and the snowstorm are connected, and want to use or kill her because of it. So David has to protect Rose from supernatural creatures that resemble humans and a secret government that has existed since the time of Augustus Caesar, while trying to keep from her the fact that she isn’t human. Actually, she’s one of a kind, the only person to be born with all three bloodlines of mystical beings known as Seeds. You see, a Seed being born with all three bloodlines is like a human being born with three different souls. No one knows what Rose’s existence means.

That sounds fascinating and a little scary! How did you come up with the idea?
I had the idea of a supernatural character being born a hybrid of some kind for awhile. I’m a huge vampire fan, so at first Rose was a mix of vampire, werewolf and mystic. Then I had this vision of a baby floating in the middle of an ocean surrounded by blood, and no one knowing what the existence of the baby meaning. The baby could be here to save us all, or destroy us. Those two stories were separate ideas. Then one day I went over to one of my cousin’s house and he got me hooked on this TV show named Carnivàle. From there came my obsession with secret societies and the paranormal world beyond vampires and the normal supernatural creatures. I merged my two ideas together, except I took out everything about vampires and werewolves and mystics, and created my own beings... Seeds. The other supernatural creatures in the book (the Guardians and Links) and the shadow Hunters I had in different short stories I’d wrote, and so I put them in my story about the hybrid baby destined to either save us or destroy us.

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?
This is my first. I’m very excited and I hope the readers enjoy escaping into the world of Seeds as much as I enjoyed creating it.

What can we expect from you in the future, Gabriel?
I’m working on a Young Adult Urban Fantasy about Angels. I only hope Angels aren’t over exposed by the time I finish it. I’m also working on a kids TV pilot and another TV pilot for a slightly older audience. I’m also thinking about the sequel to Three Seeds, and a spin off with one of the characters.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know? Yeah. It’s been a pleasure sharing Three Seeds with everyone. I’ve been writing for a long time but this is the first project that has been published for others to read. I have to admit, Three Seeds is my favorite creation because I put so much into it. Everything means something. I hope the readers get as much out of it as I put into it.

The bite leaves Morgan with flawless skin as her wound heals quickly and perfectly, and it leaves her with severe bloodlust as she has now turned into a werewolf, like her serial-killing nemesis. This drastic change casts Morgan into an action-packed, dramatic journey as she is pressured (a deadly chip in the brain can do that) by a man to go across the country to kill a vampire that has supposedly killed his sister. What is Under the Moonlight all about?
It’s the story about a woman named Morgan Carbone. She’s a detective, and in the beginning of the story she’s investigating a series of crimes that lead her to a serial killer who claims he’s a werewolf. While she’s interrogating him, he bites her and she in turn becomes a werewolf. She becomes fixated on finding him to get revenge for turning her into a monster.
This bit of the story started out as a short story, sort of a way for me to introduce the character and what she’s all about.
Then, in the story, 4 months pass by and Morgan is still trying to become used to being a werewolf, when another werewolf who’s seeking revenge for the murder of his sister captures her. He forces Morgan to go to Europe and find an ancient vampire named Elizabeth Bathory. Things get complicated when Morgan begins to develop feelings for the beautiful vampire.

That sounds very cool! You’ve combined two of my favorite things: serial killers and werewolves. How did you come up with the idea?
I have always been intrigued with the story of Elizabeth Bathory, it’s something that is just so dark and disturbing, and how a woman in that time could get away with doing such horrible things for so long. I also wanted to challenge myself with writing a horror novel. I wanted to see if I was capable of doing it. It was an amazing experience being able to search deep within myself and find darkness and gore.

Tell the readers about some of your other work, Isabelle?
I have written several books, a mix of genres like erotica and romance, but I also delve into magical realism and fantasy (my favorite genres to write). I wrote a collection of erotic fairy tales titled Naughty Fairy Tales (originally published through Stardust Press, now available through Lulu.com) and a collection of short stories titled The Jackets (Lulu.com).

What can we expect from you in the future?
I’m waiting to hear back about a novel about Apollo and Daphne (based on the Greek myth) titled The Laurel. I’m currently working on a novel based on the Greek myth of Hades, Persephone and Demeter tentatively titled Pomegranate. I’m also working on putting together a collection of rewritten fairy tales with an amazing group of writers titled Twisted Fairy Tales. It’s going to include horror, science fiction, poetry and erotica. I’m really looking forward to this project.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
Thank you so much for having me. This was a lot of fun. J

Can a wolf shifter find his mate before the next full moon or will she turn the tables on him to rock his world?

Rodrick Dracon is the twin heir to the Dragon Inn. When he finds himself longing for a mate after being footloose and fancy free, he finds himself drawn to the most obnoxious, brassy woman he has ever met: Jaxon Sinclair. She is the one woman who doesn't melt when he goes by or hangs on his every word. Jaxon is the one woman who isn't afraid to go toe to toe against Rod and as the sparks fly between them, can Rod get this woman to heel and claim her before the next full moon or will she turn the tables on him and make him work for her heart?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?
Thanks for having me here. J I am glad to be here. My upcoming release is part of my popular paranormal series called Devon Falls. You met Rodrick in Fiery Magic (book 3) when his twin, Damian had to redeem himself in the eyes of his former flame, Alicia. Now in Haunting Magic, Rodrick is about to find that the one woman, who annoys and drives him simply bonkers, is his destined mate. What they both do about it, on the other hand, is a battle that will have both hearts joined together as one by the time the full moon arrives on Halloween in Devon Falls or both will be lost to each other. I love the fact that Jaxon, Rod’s destined mate, is both feisty and determined. She doesn’t like the fact she wants this so called “Lothario” but she is going to make dang sure he works for her heart and love.

What is Devon Falls 4: Haunting Magic all about?
This was a fun book to write as Rodrick is such a player and being an alpha wolf shifter, he doesn’t want to settle down and have a family of his own. That is until his wolf finds the one woman who stirs him like no other and drives him completely batty. I tried to make Jaxon a woman who didn’t quite agree with this man’s lifestyle though she has no idea he is a shifter until much later and frankly, she could have done without the whole “lusting and wanting to jump his bones” bit but these two have such chemistry that I just had to put them together. *rubs hands gleefully*
Here is a sneak peek (unedited so please excuse the typos/mistakes) of Haunting Magic:
Rod could barely breathe as Jax ran her finger over his cock. He was about to explode if she kept this up. It was like gasoline was tossed on the ground and Jax was the match that caused him to burn uncontrollably. He hoped like hell she did something soon or the wolf inside him was going to take over this mating in a heartbeat.
“Jax…..Please” Rod growled as he tried to control the beast inside him. Jax looked at Rod and the sly, sensual smile on her face had him shuddering as she slid the jeans down and his cock bobbed free, a drop glistening on the tip that had her licking her lips for a taste.
“What is wrong, Rod? Can’t stand the flame that burns between us?” Jax whispered in his ear as her hands slid down to cup his balls, rolling them gently as she nipped his ear lobe and pressed a kiss on the side of his neck, ignoring the way his cock strained for her touch.
She was driving him nuts that his control was getting thinner and thinner to hang on to. With each touch and whispered word, this woman was driving him past the point of no return. The wolf howled inside his head as her hand finally slid down the length of him, causing him to tighten his hands on her ass and groan at the sensations that raced through him. Exquisite pleasure racked his body as he shuddered at the touch of her finger on the sensitive underside of the head had him growling low in his throat.
He felt Jax nip his throat in response and then before he could react, she slid down so her lips grazed a trail that burned with each kiss, nip and lick of her tongue down his chest, to his waist, swirling her tongue around his navel, making him groan louder. She looked up, passion glazing her eyes over, making them like bright sapphires and then before he could think, her lips closed over the tip of his cock and he grabbed the edge of the kitchen island with such force, he almost left marks in the countertop. The flick of her tongue against him had him almost cumming and it took all the will power he had to not force her to swallow him whole. The maddening licks, the way her fingers glazed over his balls and the slow torture of her sliding him deeper inside her wet mouth had Rodrick perilously close to the edge. She was driving him mad with the way she was teasing him. If this kept up he was going to blow his load deep down her throat.

That’s hot, Raine! How did you come up with the idea?
I was submitting my first story for a holiday submission and the characters wouldn’t leave me alone. I got the idea to base a town full of paranormal creatures and center each story on a holiday. In each book, excerpt the fifth one; you get an inkling on who may be the main characters in the next book. I loved creating Devon Fall and the people who populate it. I know when I finish getting book five done, I will miss it terribly but I do have other characters who are intriguing enough that may have me seeing if I can help them find their soul mates. *wide grin*
