Disowned and cast out of his home, eighteen year old Declan Mayo turns to the only thing he can think of to help him get back on his feet. Working at Chicken Ranch, a rural brothel that caters to women and gay men, seems like the perfect solution. He isn’t about to let a lack of sexual experience stop him from taking what he sees as his only way off the streets.

Falling in love with one of his clients wasn’t in the game plan, but Declan can’t seem to help himself. Killian Hamilton is sweet and kind, with a stutter Declan can’t help but find adorable. Surely, if anyone could overlook Declan’s choice of employment, it would be a kindhearted man like Killian.

What Declan doesn’t count on is Killian’s connection to one of the brothel’s regular clients, or the way his love life is about to blow up in his face.

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

Thanks for allowing me to be here and share a little bit about my latest release, Chicken Ranch: Hunger.

What is Hunger all about?

Hunger is the first book in my new Chicken Ranch series. The story is about a young man named Declan who’s thrown out of his home when his father finds out he’s gay. Left homeless and penniless, Declan turns to the world’s oldest profession to survive. Once there, he meets Killian—a man who has his own issues—and they fall for each other.

It’s a very angsty story, but I had a lot of fun writing it. I’m looking forward to penning the other boy’s stories as well.

That sounds like a gripping story. How did you come up with the idea?

A friend and I co-write Don’t Look Back, a romantic suspense story featuring a reformed female prostitute, and it pinged my imagination. Of course it didn’t hurt that my husband was watching those Cathouse shows on HBO at the time either.

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?

Oh my…yes. I have a growing backlist of titles at Amber Quill, Loose Id, and Samhain publishing. You can find the entire list on my website, as well as free reads and coming soon books. www.amandayoung.org

What can we expect from you in the future, Amanda Young?

People can look forward to more books in the Chicken Ranch universe, as well as the final two books in my Reckless series. I also have a rare M/F title coming out in August called Don’t Look Back, which I co-wrote with Michelle Cary.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

That’s about it, hon. Thanks for having me.

What do you do when you want to take your relationship further and it includes you having more pleasure? Carenna loves Garrett, in fact, she loves him so much, she’s moved in with him. But the only thing she’s missing is that while she gets pleasure from being with him, sometimes, she wants to be pleasured for her. So, she writes him the letter because how else can you teach a male?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

My latest offering is Teaching the Male. Coming soon, I’ll have my second Marauder book out, Call of the Wylde. Both will be available through Aspen Mountain Press.

What is Teaching the Male all about?

It’s how one woman, Carenna, took the initiative and creatively brought home to her lover how she wanted to be pleased and how she knew that he could do it if he realized the importance of her pleasure to him as well.

That sounds very interesting. How did you come up with the idea?

Honestly, I was a bit perturbed at my male at the time, so with Michelle Hasker, another AMP author, urging me on, I wrote Teaching the Male in one sitting. It was very liberating to say the least.

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?

This is my first time! *grins* But now that I know more about author offering, I hope to be here more often. If readers would like to learn more about my books, I can be found on my website, www.cynnara.com. I often give out free reads and ideas that I might work on in the future for readers to vote on.

I’m currently working on the next P3 universe book for Loose Id, another of my publishers. I’m also working on a futuristic pirate story to be submitted who knows where. My Marauders have found a great home at Aspen Mountain Press and I’ll be pushing to get Donal’s book done for the end of the year if I can.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

Gargoyles guard things. That's a fact of life. Knuckles, head doorman of Moonlight & Magic, leads a simple life. People cause trouble, he talks to them. People continue to cause trouble and he proves how squishable most races are compared to a creature hewn out of stone. Knuckles doesn't do gentle.

That is, until he rescues Neri, a fragile human woman, quite literally from a fate worse than death. Can a gargoyle fall in love? Can a human woman make the leap of faith required to accept him for what he is?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

My lates release is Sunlight & Slavery, part of the Moonlight & Magic series released through Changeling Press.

What is Sunlight & Slavery all about?

The story is about Knuckles, head doorman at Moonlight & Magic. A gargoyle guarding things and protecting humanity is what he does, it’s what he is. Because of his looks he’s always been on the outside looking in, until he rescues Neri. The soon to be both ex and deceased girlfriend of a small time crook, Carrick. Neri is scared to death of the situation she finds herself in and extremely grateful to her inhuman rescuer. A gratitude which turns quickly into fascination and we all know what they say about curiosity...especially when Knuckles ‘wakes’ the next evening to find Neri’s been kidnapped.

That sounds like a great read. How did you come up with the idea?

It was very much a ‘what if’ game to be honest. Knuckles appeared as a secondary character in Moonlight & Magic, pretty much as the next story’s hero, Tiny, appears in Sunlight & Slavery. The idea of a strong silent type hero with a noble soul really appealed to me so Knuckles character was born.

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?

Sunlight is actually my eighth release, and the second in the Moonlight & Magic series. The third in the series, Deception & Desire, is already contracted and in the process of being written. Other than that series, I also have the Kyn series then three non-series books, two paranormal romance and one contemporary romance. If you’re interested in checking them out they can be found on the books page on my site http://mina-carter.com/?page_id=3

What can we expect from you in the future, Mina?

Well, in the immediate future I have another contemporary romance, Playing with Fyre, releasing through Lyrical Press on the 6th July and Deception and Desire coming soon to Changeling. I’m also pleased to have acquired (read bullied a good friend into it ;) ) another writing partner and we’re working on a were-dragon series at the moment.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

You’re very welcome, thank you for having me! And all I’ll say is – watch this space, there are plans afoot! ;)

Title: MAGNIFICENT MAN
by Randall Lang
Author Website: http://www.randalllang.com/
Publisher: Midnight Showcase

Genre: Sexy romance

Blurb:

Life has not been easy for former beauty queen Cassandra Taylor. Abandoned by her worthless former husband, she is a single mother struggling to hold a home together for her teen-aged daughter and her mother with health problems. An ad in a Hollywood fan magazine offers her the hope of beginning anew with a more financially secure life and the glamour of Hollywood. She spends her meager savings chasing this dream only to have it dashed by an offer she must refuse. When her car breaks down on a desert highway, it leaves her alone, desperate, and at the mercy of strangers. A large, handsome man who rides the desert on a motorcycle rescues her from a life or death encounter. He agrees to take her home, but she is suspicious of him. To her surprise he calls her ‘my lady’ and treats her as if she were a queen and he, her knight escort. It is during this long and convoluted journey of adventure that she finds herself falling deeply in love with Coyote, the spirit rider. Although he resists, he also becomes helplessly in love with her. She quickly comes to realize that she could not survive in the harsh desert world where he is loved and respected, and he could not survive in the modern world that he does not understand and which will not accept his anachronistic ways. They seem doomed, as the sun and the moon, to always be apart even though their love bonds them helplessly to each other. Join Cassandra on the journey of a lifetime with her strange desert knight, her Magnificent Man.

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

Hello Rie and thank you for allowing me to be here today. Firstly, I’m Randall Lang and I’ve been writing erotica for many years. That was fun, but I developed a longing to write something more ‘mainstream’ so that I wouldn’t have to feel as if I should hide in the shadows when books were discussed. As most authors will understand, I had a story idea that haunted me for a couple of years and just kept getting more and more ‘pregnant’ (can I say that here?) until it had to be written. That idea became Magnificent Man, which was just released in June of 2009 by Midnight Showcase.

Magnificent Man is my effort to prove that a straight man can write romance without turning it into a Chuck Norris Movie. It's a deeply romantic storyline, but it takes place in the contemporary American southwest with a background of motorcycles, Mexicans, Indians, bar fights, and AMAZING scenery. No Castles, no ballrooms, and NO friggin' kilts.

What is Magnificent Man all about?

It’s what I call my ‘road trip romance’. It’s the story former Louisiana beauty queen Cassandra Taylor whose life gradually changes from one of glamour and fame into a daily struggle just to support her teen-age daughter and her ailing mother. Desperate for a way to improve their lives, she takes a chance on a Hollywood movie career only to have her hopes dashed. The trip home becomes a disaster until a large handsome man on a motorcycle rescues her in the Arizona desert. He’s strangely anachronistic in his manners and speech, calling her “my lady” and treating her as a knight would treat a queen. He agrees to take her home, but first he is committed to accomplish several missions in the desert of Arizona and New Mexico. While she is with him, she begins to understand the unique and scenic nature of the desert, and how remarkable are the largely forgotten peoples who live there. As she learns more and more about her curious knight, she joins the native people in their respect and love of the man called Coyote. She is swept away by his strength, his commitment, his spirituality, and his nobility, and discovers what a truly magnificent man he is.

But the last thing Cassandra wants is to become attached to an unusual man from the desert. Nevertheless, as their trip progresses, she finds herself falling hopelessly in love with Coyote. Coyote also struggles against his increasing attraction to a woman he views as a sophisticated city lady from a world he does not understand. Try as they may, neither can resist the love that steadily builds between them. They both realize the futility of love since neither could exist in the other’s world. They seem doomed to lives of unhappy separation until events beyond their control link them together.

That sounds like a great story. How did you come up with the idea?

As is my hero, I am quite anachronistic. I believe in the knightly values of honesty, nobility, chivalry, and faith. In my mind, a true hero is one who lives these values unquestioning even when confronted by the taunting and laughter of others. It simply is not within my ability to create a great world saving, bigger than life hero when my real hero is a humble man who does great things on a small scale. It was this hero around whom I built the story of the Magnificent Man.

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?

I have many other works of a different nature. When I first started writing, I wanted to create erotic stories to entertain women. I had read the pathetic stories in men’s magazines, with their strings of capital letters and exclamation points, and their absolutely stupid storylines. I thought back to the quality erotic books such as Peyton Place, Harrad Experiment, and Fannie Hill that I had discovered hidden in the back of my Mother’s bookshelves. I challenged myself to attempt to write erotic prose that is both well written and titillating. First I came up with two books of erotic short stories for women that were published as Sweet Nothings and Sweet Nothings 2. Those were followed by a series of erotic books entitled Trailer Park Nights, which has grown into a continuing story in five volumes. They were written in first person as the thoughts and experiences of a 22 year-old man under the tutelage of an older woman as his mentor and lover. Possibly my best seller to date is a book of four erotic stories entitled Pleasure's Choice-Older Women, Younger Men. I suspect that you can guess the theme. This was ‘cougar’ before cougar was ‘cool’. All are available at Renaissance E-books.
http://shop.renebooks.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=120.

In addition to Magnificent Man, I also contributed to a collection of erotic stories called Midnight Raunch at Midnight Showcase www.midnightshowcase.com. Each story is different and reflects the writer. Finally, one of my erotic stories was included in Swing!, a digest of over twenty stories about swinging and the swing lifestyle. This was edited by Jolie DuPre and published by Logical-Lust Publishing SWING! And has been a run away hit that will be published in print starting in July 2009. If anyone has ever been curious about swinging, this is the book to read. I’ve been a busy boy.

What can we expect from you in the future, Randall Lang?

At the moment I’m up to my elbows with the marketing of Magnificent Man, and the writing has suffered. Midnight Showcase has plans for a new erotic anthology and I will probably contribute to that. In September, 2009, Logical-Lust Publishing and Jolie DuPre will team up again to produce The Cougar Book, which, as you might imagine, is right up my alley. You won’t believe how hot THAT book will be! Finally, I recently did an author chat at the Jeanie and Jayha Yahoo group http://groups.yahoo.com/group/JeanieandJayha/ where the ladies both beat me up pretty good and praised me silly. During the discussion, they proposed several ideas for a sequel to Magnificent Man that started my creative process again. I guess my muse is ‘pregnant’ again.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

For those who survived all of my ‘verbositude’, you’ll be glad to know that I’m about to shut up. I do want to invite everyone to my website at www.randalllang.com for all the information about my books, and also to my blog, THE MIND OF RANDALL LANG, at WWW.RANDALLLANG.BLOGSPOT.COM. The blog is not about selling you anything, it’s just a lot of reflections on life through my twisted mind. AND FINALLY (he says to the groaning audience), I want to thank Rie McGaha, who is a really hot lady, for allowing me to abuse her blog with all of my ramblings. Of course I’ll call you in the morning. I am, Your most humble and obedient servant,
Randall Lang

Each encounter risks her heart. Now if only she can convince him to risk his.

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

My latest offering is Show-Off, a Scarlet novella from The Wild Rose Press.

What is Show-Off all about?

It’s a fun story of a woman who learns how to take risks when her sexy Spanish boss takes an interest in her. He pushes her to her limits as they make love in public places. As he loosens her inhibitions, she loosens his resistance to opening his life to a woman.

That sounds really sexy. How did you come up with the idea?

The first scene has been in my head for years, since I first saw the Sex and the City episode when Carrie Bradshaw wears her “naked” dress on her first date with Mr. Big. A few months ago, one of my critique partners issued a challenge, and I went for it. I had a blast writing it, too, especially with the inspiration of Javier Bardem in Vicky Cristina Barcelona.
Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?

This is my very first. I’m so excited!

What can we expect from you in the future, Emma?

I’m working on my second novella for The Wild Rose Press, about a journalism T.A. who falls for one of her students, a soldier returned from Iraq. Each of them is searching for something they’ve missed, and they discover they need to look forward and not back.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

Thanks for having me! I’d like readers to check out my blog, www.emmajay13.blogspot.com. I think it’s just gorgeous, if I do say so myself! I’d love to hear what readers think of Show-Off!

Author Offerings from Kelley Heckart

Title: Cat's Curse, Book One: Dark Goddess Trilogy
Release Date: June 12, 2009
Author: Kelley Heckart
Author Website: http://www.kelleyheckart.com/
Publisher: Awe-Struck
Blurb:

Cardea, follower of the Great Goddess is cursed to live an eternity as a blood drinker. For centuries she has lived with hate hunting and feeding off humans. Now she finds herself at the end of a sword blade held by the most handsome and arrogant man she has ever met.

Aedan mac Gabrain, prince of Dal Riata and a Christian, trusts no one after suffering a curse that keeps him from touching any females or he will turn into a black cat like his brother. He especially distrusts this strange female who could be the one who cursed his clan since no one knows Cat Anna's true face.

Can two tortured souls find love while battling a dark goddess determined to destroy them?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?
Hi Rie, thanks for having me on your blog. My latest release is Cat's Curse, the first book in a trilogy that involves an Irish clan with secrets, a curse, a Greek vampire and an angry Goddess. By combining history with elements of romance, mythology and the paranormal, Cat's Curse brings to life a little known period in history—a time when magic and conflict reigned as the Christian clans of Dal Riata fought for control of the pagan land of the Picts. Behind it all is the Cailleach (also known as Cat Anna), an ancient Fae/goddess, who will stop at nothing to keep the Christian warlords from gaining control of Alba (Pictland). I think Cat’s Curse will appeal to readers who like historical romances and those who like paranormal or fantasy romances.

What is Cat's Curse all about?
Cat's Curse is about finding love when all the odds are stacked against you. My hero is under a curse and can't touch any females or he turns into a black cat, and my heroine has been under a curse for centuries and has to drink blood to survive. And to make matters even more difficult, an angry Goddess wants to destroy my hero. The other obstacle is he is a Christian while my heroine is a follower of Astarte. This is my first book with a vampire. I decided to do something different and make her a Greek vampire, cursed to live an eternity as a blood drinker by the Levite priests. She is half-human and half-serpent, not your typical vampire.

That sounds very exciting. I have traced my family line back to the Picts, so tell me, how did you come up with the idea?
I started researching the Picts and came across a sixth century Irish warlord who had a shadowy past. He may have even fathered a king of the Picts. This man fascinated me and I imagined what his 'shadowy' past might have been like. So armed with a pen and my imagination I started writing Cat's Curse and it evolved into a trilogy.

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?
I have three other Celtic romances out with Awe-Struck—Of Water and Dragons, Ravenwolf and White Rose of Avalon.

What can we expect from you in the future, Kelley?
I have two more books coming out with Awe-Struck this year. Night's Daughter comes out August 28. This is part of another series (involving Of Water and Dragons & Ravenwolf), but can be read alone. Night's Daughter is a re-telling of the war between the Titans and the Olympic gods. And I have the second book in my trilogy, Beltaine's Song, coming out November 13. The third book in the trilogy, Winter's Requiem, should be out sometime next year.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
Thanks for having me. I always love to hear from readers. I can be found online at www.kelleyheckart.com and can be reached through my website or at kelleyheckart@kelleyheckart.com Stop by and check out all the free information I have on my site on faeries, the ancient Celts, the Tuatha de Danaan and pre-Hellenic Greek Goddesses. Author Website: www.webs.com/sassysipe
Publisher: Freya's Bower

Genre: Contemporary Sweet
Blurb:

After sixteen years of marriage, Bliss is happily married to a wonderful man, they have a well adjusted son, a race team, and good jobs. But something is lacking. What more could she want? It isn't until her husband's strange question, or statement, to marry him does she finally fill in the missing piece. Will she find peace at last, or something more? Is this the blurb you normally use for the book? Or do you have something a little longer?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

Thank you for having me. I guess we can focus on Just Ask. It is a cute, quick little read of fifteen pages. It is a stand alone.

What is Just Ask all about?
It is a small micro read. The only review I have received has been favorable, and received 3 cups from Coffee Time Romance & More. The story is about a woman living her happy life with her husband and son. Married for sixteen years she is content but feels something is missing.
One night, as her husband and son prepare motorcycles for a race, she (Bliss) relaxes in the living foom for the first time in a long time, to watch a program she wants to watch. And who better to watch than Antonio Banderas? In comes her husband, Ron. He plops down on chair and states that they need to talk. She ignores him for awhile, but his persistance won't let her be. At a very climatic point in the movie, he states that they need to get married. She, of course, is slow to focus until the words sink in. Then she 's in shock, and asks him what he just said and is still confused. He is asking to renew thier vows, but it came out as a proposal. Bliss relizes that he just asked her the one question that has been missing in her life.

That sounds like a very sweet story. How did you come up with the idea?

It really happened to me and my husband. That is how he suggested we renew our vows.
He came in one night, plops down in the chair and pops the question. His reasoning was we needed to be married in a church. We planned a medievel wedding theme, but a possible relocation in the middle of the plans halted everything. The wedding was put on hold until our twentieth anniversary, NEXT YEAR! Still Medievilsh, but I get extra time to make it GREAT!

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?
Sassy has a work in progress. BUT Ronna Gage--my erotic pen name--has two books out with Freya's Bower: Afternoon Delight and Tell Me A Lie. I also have paranormal/time-travel called Mystic Journey coming out with Noble Romance Publishing. The contract was just signed a week ago so no set release date yet. I will let everyone know when to expect it out on my many blogs and sites.

What can we expect from you in the future?

Sassy Sipe is collaborating with author Mary Estep on a western Gun Battle at Cisco. There is no release date as of yet.

Thank you for joining me, Sassy. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

I wish to thank everyone who has given me the encouragement to do this endeavor. You for interviewing me, and the great reviews validating my dream.

SOUL SEARCHERS by Reese Johnson
Coming June 8, 2009
Genre: Contemporary/Shapeshifter/M/M
Blurb:
When Timberlin Barrows' father found him in bed with his lover, Micah, he had no idea how that fateful night would change his life forever. As Lord Barrows' men dragged Micah kicking and screaming from the bedchamber, Timberlin could do nothing to help the only man he'd ever loved, except pack his belongings and leave home.Following his father's men, Timberlin searches for Micah, hoping to find his body and give him a decent burial. But when he winds up deep in the swamps in the middle of the night, he finds more than Micah's body submerged in the deep, dark waters.
Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?
My novella, Soul Searchers is being released on Monday and I'm very excited about it.
What is Soul Searchers all about?
The story begins in New Orleans in 1753 in a prologue that explains the beginnings of my lead character, Timberlin and his lover, Micah. The story then moves ahead to the present day and time, set in Colorado. Timberlin and Micah are werewolves living with their clan, a group of werewolves who are considered outcasts by other clans. Some are gay, lesbian, straight, black, white, Mexican--just a rainbow made up of different people and cultures. Opposing them is another clan of werewolves who hate the fact there are gay werewolves and set out to destroy Timberlin and his clan.
I love werewolf stories. How did you come up with the idea?
I spent a lot of years in prison, which is a very prejudicial environment made up of different races, cultures, and beliefs. I used what I know of prison and made a werewolf society that is similar.
Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?
This is actually my second novella. The first one, Sex & Chocolate is also a M/M contemporary story that deals with the issue of AIDS.
What can we expect from you in the future, Reese?
Right now, I'm just trying to kick back and relax a little bit and enjoy my freedom. I have a couple of projects I'm working on, but I don't have any details at the moment.
Thank you for joining me, Reese. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?
My newest release is Mating, the first of two short stories about twin werewolves - one Alpha, one Beta - and what happens when each suddenly finds their mate.
What is Mating all about?
Mating is the story of how the Alpha twin werewolf from the Verlaine pack finds his mate. His brother mates suddenly and Roul is sent into a tailspin. Wanting to ensure that his twin is happy, he goes to New York City and hires an agency that specializes in following and digging up information on immortals. The Watcher Agency is run by Morgan Kale, a rare white werewolf, who is a loner by choice and necessity. When Morgan and Roul meet sexual sparks fly. Morgan knows instantly that Roul is her mate. He hasn't picked up on the clues though and she has to decide whether or not to tell him.
That sounds like something right up my alley! How did you come up with the idea?
I actually wrote the companion story about the Beta twin first. Runaways is Ranulf's story. I wrote it for a cover contest at Faith Bicknell-Brown's Avoid Writer's Hell Yahoo group. M.E. Ellis did the cover. I fell in love with the artwork and decided to enter the contest. When I gave Runaways to author Dee Carney to crit, she basically ripped me a new one over it. And she was right. (She always is when it comes to my writing. LOL) So I set Runaways aside and decided to write Ranulf's twin's story. Mating pretty much flew from my brain to my fingers. Author Mary Winter critiqued it and really enjoyed it. That's when I knew I had a winner. Once Mating won the contest, I fixed Runaways and submitted it to Marci Baun, hoping to have both stories at the same publisher. M.E. Ellis did the Runaways cover so they would look alike. Funny how someone's art can inspire not one but two stories!
Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?
Mating is my fourth release. My other three releases are The Wise Guy at Noble Romance and at Pink Petal Books there's Shifting Winds - Tales of the Darkworld Book 1, and Hot Water - Tales of the Darkworld Book 2. I also have a free holiday story available at Pink Petal Books - Christmas Hookup.
What can we expect from you in the future, Lex Valentine?
I have several other releases on tap for this year. Fire Season - Tales of the Darkworld Book 3 is a full length M/M dragon shifter novel that will be released the first Thursday of July. I have a contemporary short entitled Silver Lining that will be in the Thrilled digest coming in July from Midnight Showcase Fiction. Mating's companion story Runaways will be coming from Freya's Bower. I have a dark tale in Wild Child Publishing's Weirdly 3 anthology which will probably be out in the fall. It's called Ain't Nuthin' But a Hellhound. I have a Twisted Tale from the Darkworld - The Pixie Prince coming soon from Cobblestone Press. I'm in the middle of 6 other projects that could well see daylight before the end of the year if completed, subbed and accepted: Ride the Lightning - Tales of the Darkworld Book 4 for Pink Petal Books, a M/M cowboy Christmas story for Pink Petal Books, a M/M ghost story for MLR Press, the sequel to the Pixie Prince for Cobblestone Press, the story of a master who runs a BDSM club for Loose ID, and an urban fantasy for Liquid Silver books.
Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
I blog weekly and sometimes more at my personal blog Sunlight Sucks (http://www.sunlightsucks.com) and once or twice a month at Flirty Author Bitches (http://www.flirtyauthorbitches.com). Author Offerings from P.A. Brown

Title: Geography of MurderRelease
TBR Date: June 2009Author: P.A. Brown
Author Website: http://www.pabrown.ca/
Publisher: MLR Press
Genre: Gay mystery with light BDSM

Blurb:
Jason Zachary wakes in bed with a dead man. George Blunt was a person of interest to the Santa Barbara police for allegedly abusing young girls. Now he's dead and young Jason, with his record for hustling and drug abuse is charged with his murder. But something is off for Detective Alexander Spider. Can he clear the man he finds himself attracted to? Because Spider has a darker secret than the fact he's gay in the macho police world of the SBPD. Can he keep his secret but still get his man? Two strong willed men whose desires collide in the dark BDSM world of bondage and pain. One seeks to be controlled, one seeks control. Will they go too far?

Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

My newest book is Geography of Murder, a murder suspense mystery with a gay Santa Barbara detective and the ex-con he gets involved with. There's nothing more forbidden to a cop than convicted felon.

What is Geography of Murder all about?

The protagonist, Jason Zachary, wakes up one morning to find himself in bed with a dead man he doesn't know. The police are there to arrest him and he can't remember what happened. Was he drugged? Is someone trying to frame him or did he commit this horrible crime? The victim is a known pedophile who was never charged so in some eyes Jason performed a public service. But Alexander Spider, the detective investigating the murder, knows something isn't right. And it's not just the fact that he find himself feeling a powerful attraction to the young man who is poison fruit for a cop. Or is it? Along the way Spider try to untangled the mystery behind the first murder, which is followed by a second until the end when the Jason may be the final victim and only Spider, who has fallen for him, even knowing it is wrong, can save him.

That sounds very exciting! How did you come up with the idea?

I first came up with the image of this guy rolling over in bed one morning and finding himself bumping into the body of a corpse he doesn't know. Then he gets arrested by a very sexy cop and the attraction and sparks between then is immediate. But they both carry baggage and secrets that may destroy not only any hopes of a relationship but much more. The rest grew as I wrote it. I didn't plot this one at all, I just sat down and wrote and three weeks later I had the first draft of a 73,000 word book.

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?

I'm the author of two previously published books, L.A. Heat and the sequel L.A. Mischief. Both novels deal with LAPD homicide detective David Eric Laine and Chris Bellamere who meet in L.A. Heat and become lovers. Their relationship is a rocky one and continues in L.A. Mischief and beyond. I've also written a few short stories out in various anthologies.

What can we expect from you in the future, P.A. Brown?

Later this year the third L.A book will be released. L.A. Boneyard is a full blown thriller where David pursues the brutal killers of three pregnant Ukrainian women involved in human trafficking. Following that will be Between the Darkness and the Light another novel set in L.A and another cop and his artist lover. Later this year a novella, Angel Light will be out in the anthology To Die For, a ghostly tale that will bring real chills to you.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

If you like your mysteries a little darker and a little gayer and you can handle the heat, come on in and test the waters. I guarantee you won't get burned. Much.
