Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?

PULL, a Dreamspinner Wet Dream in their DAYDREAMS™ line. Available September 10th!

What is PULL all about?

PULL is a short story exemplifying just how much pull some actually have and what those who have it may resort to in order to achieve their dreams. And that does not necessarily apply only to the power of corruption; unless of course, you're inclined to define an amazing blowjob as corrupt.

That sounds fascinating and utterly erotic. How did you come up with the idea?

This answer, if answered with complete candidness, will surely get me in the hot seat with a dear friend. Suffice to say, PULL is based on an actual event in a friend's life; one that left me wondering...just how he managed to "get away with it"? Of course, not wanting to be pushy and delve for details, I took a trip into my imagination and concocted the why's and perceivable how's the event may have played out...Voila! PULL

Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?

Oh no, PULL is not my first book. I've been published since March '09.

Currently, I have three books, a novella and two short stories with Noble Romance Publishing—If I Were a Lady..., Best Unspoken, and Ignited.

I also have two stories in anthologies with other presses. My first vampire story, VAMMP: Conquering Dissension, is in the BOYS OF THE BITE a Gay Vampire Anthology, edited by Cecilia Tan, from Ravenous Romance; and my story, Exposed, will be out in November in Nerdvana, an anthology of gay geeks, nerds, and the like, edited by Fred Towers, from STARbooks Press.

What can we expect from you in the future, Bryl?

Right now, I have my first attempt at Sci-Fi, titled, Coin Operated Boy, almost ready to submit to Noble Romance.

I have some revisions to make on another novella about a lifer at a family-owned architectural firm, a janitor, who has Asperger's Syndrome and his undeniable love for his employer, titled, Ismael's Cry.

By the end of the week, I should have my hot and horny Historical finished up and ready for first edits; a coming of age story of sorts, for all three men—a woodsman (35yo), a raftsman(27yo), and a stubborn, educated, Mohawk Indian (18yo). Adirondack Fever, takes place in the historical Deer Hunting Country of the early 1800s (Adirondack State Preserve) in Upstate, NY.

In the meantime, I am working diligently to revise my JT Wolfe PI Series so that I may resubmit them (and be accepted, with any luck). I am blessed to have received an awesomely detailed rejection letter, with flowing praise for my writing and numerous suggestions to improve it even more, which I plan to take to heart. Book 1 – His Nemesis, should be ready to resubmit by the first of the year. I hope to finish the series with five books.

Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?

Yes, and let me address them formally.

To my dearest readers,

I often wonder if you realize just how much you mean to us authors, to me, in particular. I, as I have heard my fellow authors state many times, adore fan mail. The occasional hate mail is acceptable too, if only to remind us we are still provocative. Oh, how we love to provoke (speaking for myself, of course). If you enjoy my books or care to discuss my writing, please, please send me an email. While I maintain the right to uphold my style, my content, and even stubbornly at times, my mistakes, I can assure you, your opinions and thoughts matter. So, drop me a line or two or three – Bryl@bryltyne.com

I'd love to hear from you.

Cheers to all, and thank you for having me today, Rie.

  2. I'm a couple of days late but I just wanted to say that I've just added PULL to my just-bought list of Bryl's books and I'm really going to have to find a way to sneak them into my reading 'schedule'...

And I agree with Lynn, great interview!
