Welcome to Author Offerings. I am so happy to have you here today and to find out what your author offerings are. What is your latest offering?
Thank you for having me here! My latest offering is Abraxas: Seeing Green, Book 4 in The Abraxas Series. This series consists of ‘dark’ paranormal romance, abundant with horrific themes. Zombies, witches, ghosts, demons, and all sorts of creepy-crawlies can be found…including cruel and nasty humans.
What is Abraxas: Seeing Green all about?
Seeing Green picks up where “Affaires de Coeur” (part of the trilogy in the first book, “The Abraxas Series: Books 1-3” [http://www.lulu.com/content/2748950] leaves off. After Ryan and the Clan finish dealing with an ex-fiancé of his--and happened to be a necromancer who sent a barrage of zombies to attack him, Christine and the family--certain evil spirits, including a ‘demon of jealousy’ are left with no place to go, except for one. The demon decides to latch itself onto Ryan, slowly taking over him, as Ryan’s petty insecurities about Christine get taken too far, thanks to the demon, leaving her and the Clan in danger, unless they figure out how to exorcise the demon from Ryan before it’s too late.
That sounds very dark and mysterious. How did you come up with the idea?
I have no clue where the idea came from, lol. The first novella in the trilogy, “Abraxas: The Beginning” started out as a submission for a contest to a e-book publishing company. Although it wasn’t picked, I never stopped writing it. I had written three novellas before I decided to combine the first three into one book. All stories after that are coming out individually. As for the series itself, I wanted to try something different, something unusual. Christine comes from a working class background, and Ryan is a distinguished gentleman and self-made businessman, and twice her age. They’re on polar opposites of the spectrum, but they love each other. The Clan itself is a colorful medley of young adults, aged 18 to 23, from all walks of life, races and creeds, and each with their own special stories to tell.
Is this your first author offering, or do you have other books the readers should know about?
Another book relevant to the series is coming out this fall. “Abraxas: The Haywire Halloween” focuses on a Clan member, Jonathan, who happens to love trick-or-treating, despite his age. (He’s got quite a few quirks that makes him a very special and unique kid!) On his ventures he finds a pendant which grants him his every wish. Unknowing of this, he wishes for everyday to be Halloween--and that’s when the real madness starts! I offer a free 2 chapter sneak peek at http://www.lulu.com/content/e-book/abraxas-the-haywire-hallowen-(sneak-peek)/662852
What can we expect from you in the future, Cinsearae?
Well, I’m working on two more books for the series, book 5 (titled Judgment) will get more involved as more characters are being introduced. Christine and Ryan will be tried at a hearing given by their House, to assess what’s been going on within their Clan, and Christine will get some more problems dished out to her, as a bit of magic will send her back in time, right before she became a vampire---a bit of a ‘test of faith’ on her part. Another ‘side story’ to the series (like the Halloween book) will involve ‘urban legends’.
Thank you for joining me. Is there anything else you'd like the readers to know?
